What is vaping?
Electronic cigarettes contain 4 basic parts. The battery, tank, coil and e-liquid. The battery heats the coil, which vaporizes the e-liquid, held inside of the tank.
When you inhale the vaporized e-liquid you’re breathing in 4 ingredients: vegetable glycerin, propylene glycol, nicotine and a flavor extract.
Is vaping safe?
Vaping is an alternative to smoking traditional tobacco cigarettes. It gives smokers the nicotine they’re addicted to and the habit they’re accustomed to, without the more than 7,000 chemicals found in traditional cigarettes.
While long-term studies on the effects of vaping aren’t available yet, no one can say with complete certainty that vaping is risk-free, many believe it is preferable to smoking.

Is vaping right for everyone?

What are PG and VG?
PG (propylene glycol) and VG (vegetable glyerine, or glycerol) are ingredients in e-liquid which create the vapor. Both are widely used in a variety of products for human consumption. PG gives you a stronger “throat hit”. VG produces more visible vapor. If e-liquids with higher PG content irritate your throat, try an e-liquid with more VG.
What level of nicotine is right for me?
Heavy cigarette smokers (1+ packs a day) are encouraged to begin at a higher nicotine level, (18-24) with the intention of weaning themselves off of nicotine completely. Heavy smokers also usually enjoy an e-liquid with a higher propylene glycol (PG) content. That’s because e-liquids with higher PG provide a stronger “throat hit”, comparable to a cigarette.
Lighter and social smokers are encouraged to begin at a mid to lower nicotine level (12 or below).
Will vaping save money?
Absolutely! Switching from smoking to vaping has the potential to save you thousands of dollars a year. It all depends on how much you smoke. Keep in mind that most of your money will be spent up front, when you purchase your first vape. Once that purchase is under your belt, you will see the savings pile up.
